Motherson is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of components for the automotive industry. The Russell Springs plant was purchased from Dr. Schneider Automotive in the summer of 2023. The facility produces high-quality plastics for the automotive industry - from innovative air vent systems to highly integrated interior paneling and sophisticated modules for instrument panels and center consoles. The company has plants in 41 countries.

Founded in 1983, the company is a recognized leader in providing reliable power sources for automotive, commercial, marine, lawn and garden, and deep cycle applications. Superior Battery manufactures a diverse product line, including its highly acclaimed Superlex brand. Superior and its 165 team members serve distributors and suppliers across the United States and a growing number of foreign markets.

In addition to achieving top industry certifications, Superior is also leading the industry in the use of robotics. The company's most significant achievements, however, have been in pioneering revolutionary flooded cell battery technology — specifically, in the creation of PFX®, which delivers extended life, enhanced cyclability, and better heat endurance at a competitive cost. 

Superior has been involved with programs of the Kentucky World Trade Center and the U.S. Department of Commerce. The company was given the Kentucky World Trade Center's Governor's Award for International Trade Excellence in 2011 for its successful international trade strategies.

Bruss North America Inc. has expanded its operations twice in the last few years. The company now has approximately 400 employees at its Russell Springs plant. The German company, which specializes in the manufacturing of sealing systems for transmissions and engines, has invested $40 million in plant and manufacturing equipment.

The Russell Springs plant, which opened in September 2001, is the company's only U.S. production operation and is also the North American corporate headquarters.

Three generations of the Davis family have owned the business that is now Davis Gate & Wire Manufacturing Inc. 

Their business has expanded with each generation. They continue to introduce new products for agricultural & chain link fencing needs. Davis Company was founded in 1945 by one man with one truck, “Pa” Elmer Davis. Davis Distributing Inc. was incorporated in 1984 and grew to 25 semi-trucks and 50 trailers under the leadership of Barry and Patti Davis. Twin sons,  Adam and Ashley,  joined the business upon graduation and are now owners/managers of Davis Gates and Wire.

Adam and Ashley Davis led the company into the manufacturing field and are expanding beyond the company’s traditional agricultural base with 60 acres of manufacturing sites. In particular, Davis has developed and is marketing chain link fencing and chain link temp panels for construction sites and various other large special events in the USA. Davis products were utilized in the 2015 USA visit of Pope Francis, the 2017 Presidential Inauguration, and the 2017 Super Bowl. Davis also custom designs chain link and agricultural products to meet the customer's spec’s and delivers the products coast to coast.

National Recycling Trailers products

National Recycling Trailers is a seven-year-old company with 60 years of experience. Their parent company, Lawless Welding, began in 1954 and has been building a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship every day since then. 

Their 30,000 sq. ft. facility is located in Russell County, Kentucky, just a day’s drive from two-thirds of the United States population. They deliver orders ranging from a fleet to a single trailer, and they intend for each trailer that goes out the door to be the best recycling trailer on the market.
